Robinson's pet shop

The first shots show manager Margaret Fox in the second half of 1981. Then we see see her on the day before the shop was due to close, around April 1982.

Robinson's pet shop was on Gosforth High Street close to Elmfield Road. Later the premises were knocked through into next door and are currently a shoe shop called "Jump".

Margaret lived in South Shields and was much-loved by the customers as you can see from the video.
